If you don’t return the signed forms to us, you won’t receive a Unique Taxpayer Reference (UTR) number. Without the UTR, we can’t submit your tax return to HMRC and this could mean that you miss the filing deadline.
Please note that HMRC can take up to six weeks to process these forms so it’s important that they’re returned to us as soon as possible following your briefing.
If you leave your employer during the tax year, you will need to check with them whether this affects your entitlement to tax return support.
If you start a different employment or self-employment in the UK, you would be responsible for providing any relevant information for your tax return.
You should ensure that if you do leave your employer, you provide Deloitte with an email address so that you can be contacted thereafter.
You should also ensure that you still have access to any relevant records related to your travel and working pattern during the tax year.
The address that would be your preferred correspondence address for HMRC in future- this may be at your home in the UK (if you’ve already found one) or your UK workplace. You should not use an address for a hotel or accommodation that you will only occupy temporarily.
